2025 Annual Coat Drive
Now – December 30, Donate New or Gently Used Coats to Your Neighborhood Rusty Bucket!
All items collected will be donated to each organization at the conclusion of the drive.
Columbus
CRIS
CRIS resettles individuals and families from countries all over the world. They offer a variety of services and resources to support refugees and immigrants in Central Ohio including resettlement, legal, family, and employment services, and health and wellness programs. All coats collected will be donated to CRIS to distribute to their clients.
Dayton
Threads of Miami
Threads of Miami Valley's hope is to help people by providing clothing, coats and shoes to those in need. This process begins with generous donations of clothes and small household goods from the community. Every morning, donated items are picked up from local stores and collected from items dropped-off at the facility. Many dedicated people gather to sort and organize the donations received. Clothes, shoes, and coats are then given out, during scheduled 30 minute appointment times, to those who need them. Mittens for Detroit
Warming hearts, two hands at a time. Mittens for Detroit, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that collects, purchases, and distributes new mittens and gloves to children, teens, and adults in need in Detroit, Michigan, and other underserved cities.
Cincinnati
St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul is a network of neighbors, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more-just world through personal relationships and service to people in need. St. Vincent de Paul joins WLWT and Warm 98.5 in asking the community to donate new and gently used coats, as well as gloves, hats, and scarves. These winter items will be distributed to neighbors in need this season.

Wheeler Mission
Wheeler is a non-denominational social services organization, which provides emergency care, recovery services to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and need in Central and South Central Indiana without regard to race, color, sexual orientation, creed, national origin, or religion.
